| Our Philosophy The philosophy of DOCTORnow is to offer individuals personal informed attention, to provide adequate length of appointment encouraging thorough discussion of patients' issues regarding their medical problems and to supply and provide information, empowering the patient to make informed decisions. Our Background DOCTORnow has been trading since 2003, with Dr Brian McGirr at the helm. Dr Brian McGirr, a locally respected GP, who had become disillusioned with the level of service he was able to offer his patients under the NHS Contract, and so decided to set up a Private Practice, offering the highest levels of service standards. The team of Doctors has since grown to include Dr Richard Angwin and Dr Sarah Marshall. DOCTORnow has grown steadily, and its reputation continues to spread, with an ever-increasing portfolio of individual and corporate members.  Our Standards DOCTORnow has satisfied all the requirements of the Healthcare Commission – the independent inspection body for healthcare services. We have a complete portfolio of policies and procedures, which ensures our staff deliver the best professional service to our patients. All our medical staff are up to date with the latest medical developments, ensuring high quality advice.
