As we all know, sickness doesn’t keep the ‘normal’ business hours of 9-5!

Guests can be unfortunate enough to become ill at any time during the day or night.  If that happens, who do you call?  Until now your options may have been limited to either your local NHS GP Surgery or calling 999 – either way your guest may well end up spending several hours waiting for a medical diagnosis and treatment.

How useful would it be to have a ‘Doctor on Call’ 24 hours a day?

We are able to offer half hour GP appointments at our surgery within the hours of 8am – 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am – 1pm on Saturday.  Alternatively, should your guest require a “house call” we can come out to you, if you are located within 15 miles of our surgery.

We are also able to offer a 24 hour ‘emergency’ service.  One of our 4 Doctors is on call every night.  We provide you with an ‘out of hours’ phone number which gets straight through to the Doctor.  They will then come to you.

Our experience is that if someone is away from home they greatly value the convenience and peace of mind this service offers. 

In addition to our Guest Services, we also offer a range of Corporate Services.

The long and unsociable hours associated with working in the hospitality industry often makes it difficult for staff to see their Doctor at a time convenient to them – this may mean they have to take time off work to do so.

Our services can have a significant impact on reducing the number of days lost through health issues.  Even a flu vaccination campaign has been shown to reduce the number of “days sick” by 2 per capita!
